Dear Friends,
The Executive Committee of Karma Thegsum Tashi Gomang (KTTG) is happy to announce a ceremony to re-consecrate the Padmasambhava Stupa at its new location. In October of 2024, the stupa was carefully picked up by a crane and transported to its current location to the south of Cottonwood Creek, nearer the Ziggurat. Much work to renew its exterior and the environment around it has been accomplished. Most recently Robert Sturm, expert local stonemason, has completed the flagstone pad, it looks wonderful, as you can see from the photo below. Other improvements to the grounds will continue, but for now, we will be celebrating these major milestones.
Lama Chopal from Questa, New Mexico, will be leading the ceremony on the 26th of May (Guru Rinpoche day), during the auspicious period of Saga Dawa. All are welcome to attend the ceremony, in its entirety or in part. It will start in the morning of the 26th and go on for a few hours. Refreshments will be served.
Another message nearer to the date will offer a more exact start time.
